Tara Chugh and Carrie Jennings put on an incredible night of music together. Tara brings a performance that draws people in with her powerful, ethereal, emotional artistry. She has performed throughout the West Coast, opening for artists including Talib Kwali and Grammy Nominated artist Ryan Leslie. As a Recording Academy voting member, Tara has dedicated her life to music, and has performed with various musical groups at notable venues including The Showbox, Paramount Theatre, Benaroya Hall, The Spanish Ballroom, and The Rabbit Box. Carrie Jennings is a vocalist and flugelhorn player based in Seattle, WA. She is an indie singer-songwriter making sultry music full of soulful horn lines and potent lyrics. She released her debut EP Good Tension in 2023, and is now bringing her original music to life while putting down roots in the Pacific Northwest. She has performed regionally at venues including Nectar Lounge, High Dive Seattle, Tractor Tavern, Spanish Ballroom, and The Get Down, at festivals including Oregon Country Fair, Bumbershoot, and South by Southwest, and has opened for acclaimed artists such as The California Honeydrops and Snarky Puppy. Tara and Carrie connected immediately when they met at a Seattle Sofar Sounds show in March of 2024. Since then, they have been collaborating both on and off the stage, performing together at venues including Spanish Ballroom in Tacoma and The Rabbit Box in Seattle, and working together to build their music careers through networking events, tour planning meetings, and rehearsals. They are thrilled to be taking this partnership on the road and sharing new quartet arrangements of their original music with audiences across the Pacific Northwest.
